4-H’ers show award-winning holiday spirit

There’s a saying we all know — actions speak louder than words. And that’s exactly what two Wisconsin 4-H groups did in recent weeks — with award-winning results! By participating in local parades, they showed their civic pride and their commitment to 4-H and what it stands for: developing oneself to benefit others.

Decked out as Snoopies, Woodstocks and the title character from from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” the Ashland County 4-H Club Brunwillow Busy Beavers took first place in the Youth Division in Ashland’s 54th Garland City of the North Christmas Parade.

The Fond Du Lac County 4-H Horse & Pony Project — and a donkey or two — won Best Children’s Entry at the Fond Du Lac Holiday Parade of Lights.

Congratulations to our spirited 4-H’ers!
