Program Rates

• Program rates at Upham Woods include use of all facilities and equipment, overnight lodging (if applicable), access to the Wisconsin River and exclusive use of Blackhawk Island, educational programming (including night time programs), low ropes course programming, liaison support for your group, professional teaching staff, and access to our food service. Rock climbing programs at Devil’s Lake State Park are available for an additional fee.  Call for details.
• Group size dictates how many teaching staff are available for your group
• 1 - 59: up to two staff
• 60 +: three staff
• Additional staff may be used at a rate of $100/staff/half day (if available)
• Dorm rates do not include linens.  If you would like sheets, blankets, and shower towels for your group, please add an additional $6/person/night.
• “Youth Group” is defined as a group that has more youth then adults. “Adult Group” is defined as a group that has more adults then youth.  Youth groups are provided reduced rates because they help with basic cleaning of the facility at the conclusion of their stay (sweeping, wiping down mattresses, picking up trash, cleaning tables in dining hall).  Adult groups are not asked to complete these tasks; an increase in fees allows us to provide additional custodial and staffing services for adult groups. Family camping programs may select which rates they wish to pay based on the amount of responsibilities they wish to absorb.

PEAK Season Rates (March 1 – November 30)

Off-site Outpost Trips: Refer to “tent” overnight lodging fees in chart above

• Equipment and canoe transport is provided for all groups.  A $30/night/group fee is charged to offset the costs of the additional equipment.  If a group wishes to only use staff, but NO equipment, they do not have to pay this fee.
• Maximum group size is 20 for Wisconsin River trips and 30 for State Park trips.
• Packed meal ingredients are available at the same rate as in camp dining.  Group is responsible for preparing meal with the help of the Upham staff person
• One staff member is provided for each group for the entire trip
• Rock climbing program are available for an additional fee at Devil’s Lake State Park

OFF Season Rates (December – February 28)

Food Service

• Available for groups of 20 or more people.  Smaller groups may also elect to purchase food service, but they will be billed for the 20 person minimum for all meals
• Upgraded catering menu for all meals available upon request
