Bring your family and friends to explore Upham Woods on Friday, September 25th from 6—8 pm. As part of the
national “Take A Child Outside Week,” our staff will be offering programs to public throughout the evening.
You can explore the hiking trails on the mainland with your family or join in a program around camp.
Here’s a schedule of events for the night:
6:00 pm - Take the Barge over for a short hike on Blackhawk Island.
6:00 & 7:00 pm - Raptor Program in the Main Lodge
6:00—7:30 pm - Archery Range Open
6:30 pm - Catch and Explore Wacky Water Critters in the backwaters of
the Wisconsin River
7:15 pm - Meet the Upham Reptiles and Amphibians in the Nature Center
7:40 pm -Toast marshmallows at the Campfire Circle
This night is also a great time to come explore Upham Woods to determine if you would like to bring a group of
youth or adults here in the future. Chuck Cropp, our Program Coordinator, will be available to talk to you about
programming options throughout the evening. This event is free but good will donations are always accepted.
