Planning, organizing and decision making are critical skills taught through 4-H clubs and committees.  Three new and updated tools are posted on Community Club Central for you to use and share.  First is the updated tool, Developing Operating Guidelines for Clubs and Committees, developed by Jackie Johnson, Chippewa County 4-H Youth Development Agent. This tool provides clubs and committees a checklist for essential elements needed in developing operating guidelines that could be part of a handbook or bylaws. The new Club and Committee Activity Planning Form was developed by Chris Viau, Wood County 4-H Youth Development Agent, can provide assistance to club and committee groups to plan a successful event or activity. A new Club and Committee Activity Reporting Form, developed by Megan Stuessel, Trempealeau County 4-H Youth Development Agent, helps club and committee groups report how an event or activity happened and suggestions for the next group. These forms are located on Community Club Central under Club Basics and under Committees. Thanks to the authors and reviewers of these tools.  Volunteers and staff will put them to good use in making a difference.
