Communications
is a national 4-H project. It features curriculum that will guide you through the project. For a copy contact your County 4-H Office or order online at National 4-H Service Supply. For additional curriculum possibilities, explore the National Directory of 4-H Materials and do a key word search for Communication.
Communications 1
What you can do in this project: engage in non-verbal, verbal and written activities; strengthen your personal communication skills; encrypt codes, write songs and give directions.

County 4-H Ambassador Program
Many counties offer Teen Ambassador programs to help promote
4-H. Check out the Ambassador and Advisory Guidebook for
common Ambassador roles and responsibilities, profiles of county
Ambassador programs, and a number of Ambassador tools. Ambassadors
are trained locally and may attend Wisconsin
4-H Youth Conference for further training. The conference, for
youth in grades 8-10, is scheduled each June at the UW-Madison campus.
Contact your county Extension office for details.
Wisconsin 4-H Art-Beat!
4-H members in 3rd - 5th grade learn about music, drama, visual arts, arts and crafts, juggling and more!
Wisconsin 4-H Arts Camp
If you are in grades 6-8, sign up for the Visual Arts Track
at the next 4-H Arts Camp. Youth in grades 9-10 who are experienced
in the visual arts project can serve as instructors and counselors
at this camp, scheduled each October at the Upham Woods Environmental
Education Center, Wisconsin Dells.

Lab
If you are a new or emerging youth or adult visual arts leader,
sign up for the Visual Arts Track at the next 4-H Arts Leadership
Lab, scheduled each fall.

County Fair
The county fair . . . what a great time it is! Every summer, families
flock to county fairs to see the latest 4-H project exhibits. Exhibiting
is a fun and educational way for youth to showcase their project
work to judges and to the public.
Judging materials are supported by Bill Shaw in memory of his wife, Shirley.
