Wisconsin Operation Military Kids
School Resources
Record numbers of National Guard, Army Reserve and other military parents living in Wisconsin communities have been mobilized. Their children are suddenly "military kids" and are especially vulnerable. They need a support system that can empathize and help them cope. The normal routine and stability of school can be helpful. The following materials are intended to help educators support "suddenly military kids" before, during and after military deployment. Thank you to Mona Johnson and The Washington Department of Public Instruction for sharing their resources.
