Wisconsin 4-H & Youth Conference

Where: UW Madison Campus
When: June 16-19, 2008; June 22-25, 2009

Promotional Video (wmv file - 16,257 KB) -- A "youthful" look at the 2007 youth conference.

Approximately 700 youth attend this educational event in Madison each summer. Participants take part in educational seminars and assemblies and meet people from across Wisconsin. They are encouraged to take what they learn and share it with others in their home community.

Qualifications:

  • Be in 8th-10th grade at the time of selection. (Art Team, Drama Company, Press Team, Showcase Singers and Youth Leader Council members may be 8th-12th grade);
  • be a 4-H member or member of another Extension program;
  • carry county approval through time of award trip.

Costs:

  • The registration cost for 2008 Wisconsin 4 H & Youth Conference is $210.
  • Some counties offer local sponsorships.

NOTE: Material is posted as it becomes available. Some items, such as the 2009 Registration handbook, the 2009 Coordinator's Handbook, maps and parking permit request will be posted on-line in mid to late February, 2009.

Entire document - Due to the size of the Registration TImetable & Participant Handbook, it has NOT been posted as a complete document. The information section, which includes the seminar descriptions, is posted as 08Regbook (no forms or maps). The forms are posted under 08Regbook-Forms only and the three maps are each posted separately by area ("wittegordon", "witte street", and "Madison area").
