Purpose of the Workshop:
- To offer educational workshops which include both information and hands on activity ideas for leaders to utilize when teaching youth.
- To provide a forum for strengthening communications relative to the 4-H Horse and Pony Project.
- To provide an opportunity for participants to network and share experiences.
Numerous Workshop Topics are Offered throughout the Conference by Invited Instructors

- Using horses to work with physically challenged youth
- Safety and liability for leaders
- Introduction to driving
- Understanding fair classes and premiums
- Feeds and nutrition
- General horse health
- Driving with minis
- The horse learning lab kits and how to access them
- Elements of good meetings
