Focus On… Citizenship — Inauguration

In January, a of Wisconsin 4-H members took part in the experience of a lifetime: an education experience in Washington D.C. that coincided with the 2017 U.S. Presidential Inauguration. The educational experience focused on citizenship and the Executive Branch of the U.S. Government. The young people visited national sites, held mock elections and participated in community service.

Discovering drones for National 4-H Youth Science Day

Along with 4-H’ers around the state and the country, Waukesha County 4-H hosted a public event to celebrate National 4-H Youth Science Day’s exciting 2016 engineering challenge: Drone Discovery. Youth and adult participants flew drones and wrote code, among other exciting hands-on STEM activities.
